The C-Monsta Wetsuit Hanger is the only hanger on the market which holds your wetsuits, plus all the accessories and is manufactured of recycled materials, all here in the UK.

There are other hangers available but none hold everything, it’s either accessories or the wetsuit individually. Plus this is a green company run by a really nice bloke up in Scotland who we’re more than happy to support!

What a great product! There’s no more trying to balance boots on fence posts, hanging wetsuits on the washing line only for them to blow off just as it’s dry, or gloves melted onto the radiator.

“It is great to be able to injection mould the product from recycled plastic up here in bonnie Scotland. We know the source of the plastic, who makes them and how they are made. When plastic is recycled and used properly it makes a great material for purposes such as long-lasting, super strong, closing the loop, awesome rad gnarly wetsuit hangers.

The Story

It is a small family run business from the North of Scotland with the aim of helping people to look after their cold water kit. By using the prototypes the founder, Mark, discovered that by not leaving his wetsuit in a stinking heap in the bathroom or van that he doubled the lifespan of his wetsuit. This meant that he saved over £300 every two years and less neoprene ended up in landfill.

Days of climbing into a cold wet wetsuit came to an end, stinking boots were less stinky, the cold water kit was always together, boots didn’t get lost and his partner was happy to have her bathroom back from the sloppy spidery neoprene monster, defender of the shower tray.

The original c-monsta wetsuit hangers were made by Mark as Christmas gifts for friends but eventually he decided that he should share the idea with everybody.

The C-Monsta Company History

After a decade of prioritising surf and travel I found myself in a position where it looked like a bit of settling might be happening. I had thought long and hard about where I wanted to live and had decided I wanted to go home. I love Scotland, my friends, my family and the waves – it has always felt like home for me.

My partner and I had our first child and as most people experience, my time became limited. I do not enjoy limitations or restrictions so set about gearing my life so that I could still surf as much as possible. With short, cold days and fickle, tide dependent surf spots I went in search of ways to get more waves and more enjoyment from the waves that I did get.

Wetsuit care was always annoying for me, I don’t know how many times I have been looking for my wetsuit only to find it dripping wet in the shower tray with the stinking boots lying somewhere nearby. Long story short I came up with the c-monsta wetsuit hanger. The unexpected outcome was that it made getting home and getting out the house far easier as well.

It is good to make the most of our time and to do what we love, with minimal harm to the planet. From those simple principles c-monsta has come into existence.
