Replacement fins for the stock 53mm fins supplied with a new Shinnster board with 80mm fins set. These fins allow you to tune your ride for more of a traditional surfboard or directional board feel, offering more grip and carving abilities.
The 80mm Shinnster fins are made from G10 material, a high-pressure fiberglass laminate to provide the right mix of performance and durability.
Northcore Slice offer leading designs, performance templates, quality materials all produced using the latest manufacturing technology. The Slice S5 Futures fin is based upon the Futures F4 series. The F-ONE Futures Fins F4 437 (Thruster set) – Standart White fins made of composite have been developed to optimise the efficiency of our shapes.
The F4 Thermotech is a small sized thruster in the Neutral template category. Made in Huntington Beach, the Thermotech product line does not have the traditional plastic feel of a composite fin. Instead, they have a consistent flex that creates drive and release through turns. Thermotech fins come with the Futures Truss Base, making them lighter and stronger.
The F-One FLOW Fins Carbon have been developed to optimise the efficiency of our shapes.

The foil skate is 100% twintip style construction. Palownia wood core, triaxial fiberglass top & bottom. This year we’ve added a full deck of EVA from nose to tail, rail to rail just to give a complete grip no matter where you stand on the board. We’ve started using the Cross Kites Quattro in 2018 and have been really impressed with them. The build quality, materials and how they fly are comparable to much more expensive kites on the market. Cross Kites are the sister company of Peter Lynn which is a premium brand, so a lot of the technology & know how has also been carried over. They’re also built in the same factory and have the same distributor so the warranty is really good.
The Cross Quattro really is fantastic value for money, there’s nothing on the market which offers the quality this does for anywhere near the same price.
The Quattro uses the same Vector lines as the Peter Lynn range which have a high breaking strain of 200 / 100kg (front / back lines), which aren’t far off the strength of full kitesurfing lines!
Wind Range
Although all the kites will fly in next to no wind (4mph +) the weight of the user will have the biggest impact on how strong they can be used up to. Below is the suggested wing range but the age and weight does need to be taken into consideration.
The kites are aimed at children over 14 years old but younger children could use them with supervision. However, the Cross Kites Boarder would be a better choice

The Cross Kites Quattro Power Kite can be used for static flying but is equally capable for kite buggying or kite landboarding. The 2.5, 3.5 or 4.5m would be best as these sports do require a little more power.

Dirt channel & Velcro dirt-outs. Sand and dirt can easily be removed from the kite by using the Velcro dirt-outs in the wingtips. The dirt can move towards the tips via the dirt channel along the trailing edge.
Velcro bridle loop. The Velcro Bridle loop secures your bridle and prevents it from getting tangled when packing up.
Bar Features

TX-LIGHT SINGLE SKIN CONCEPT
The single skin concept has high lift profiles and a very efficient depower. Reducing its weight to a minimum brings advantages in stability, drift and light wind handling. Single skins allow the use of our B-Safe system and absorb hard impacts. The excellent longevity of these kites is not only due to the concept but by their material. High ageing and tear resistance, three ripstop threads and enormous rigidity at only 33g / m² make the TX-Light the perfect fabric. The leading edge consists of 44g / m² DLX + fabric which better protects against abrasion and sharp-edged objects. Every material optimises a specific area of the kite. Every fabric is optimised for its use, from UV-resistant surfaces and air-impermeable coatings to absorbent properties to improve airflow when wet.
HYBRID WINGTIP TECHNOLOGY
The Hybrid Wingtip Technology consists of two self-inflating cells on each side of the kite. The openings are protected with mesh material to prevent the entry of snow or dirt. Both wingtips have our proven drainage system. The more efficient aerodynamics allow for tighter turning with constant pull, as well as increased backstall resistance. Through that, the wingtip is only flapping when you depower the kite. The bar feedback is considerably improved. The kite feels sporty and gives you a confidence-inspiring feeling.
B-SAFE SYSTEM
The B-Safe System is a (extra optional Y-) line configuration that slides along the B-level through eyelets. After activating the quick release, the bar moves 3 m up on the 5th line. The kite is reefed horizontally in the middle and reduces the wing span to a minimum. The kite comes down gently and flags out. After reactivating the quick release system, you can launch the kite through the power zone. The B-Safe System is ideal for self-landing or for taking breaks.
CAMBER TRIM SYSTEM
Bridle levels of the kite are controlled by the mixer, a pulley system which modulates the angle of attack and the profile camber. The mixer features the two-ring camber trim system. Moving the rings changes the relationship between the B or C level relative to the A level. The profile of the foil kite can be trimmed to be either flat or curved.

LIGHT TEAM CONSTRUCTION
We are using a more labor intensive, multi-step vacuum bag process. This yields a super strong, lightweight board with a custom, hand sanded finish. The most substantial change to the light team construction, is that we no longer use a full bamboo sandwich. The cork shock absorber, which used to be concealed under the bamboo sandwich, is now clearly visible under the deck skin and allows the deck to flex and absorb shock like a custom PU board with minimal to no heel denting, thanks to the underlying reinforcements and the remarkable memory properties of cork. Pure surf board feel in an ultra light but durable construction!

Cork offers excellent absorption characteristics and reforms entirely without leaving any visible dents in contrast to PVC. Therefore, it is applied as a damper in the heel area of the surfboards.

D/LAB is the name for a new construction technique that utilizes Reflex Memory Foam on the board’s deck. This new material has some remarkable properties and it’s even lighter than the cork used in our SLS range! Small heel dents can be avoided as the Reflex Memory Foam, RMF deck will gradually reform and push the deck back into shape!
The lighter and more lively response of the board, helps it get going a bit earlier than the SLS version. The remarkable damping effect created by the RMF Shock Absorber combined with the Innegra Shield will inspire your confidence to your riding to the next level. The Fish D/LAB is your ticket to maximising every session on the water and rinsing every bit of power from the wave.

RESPONSIVE FLEX

LIGHT TEAM CONSTRUCTION
We are using a more labor intensive, multi-step vacuum bag process. This yields a super strong, lightweight board with a custom, hand sanded finish. The most substantial change to the light team construction, is that we no longer use a full bamboo sandwich. The cork shock absorber, which used to be concealed under the bamboo sandwich, is now clearly visible under the deck skin and allows the deck to flex and absorb shock like a custom PU board with minimal to no heel denting, thanks to the underlying reinforcements and the remarkable memory properties of cork. Pure surf board feel in an ultra light but durable construction!
