Duotone Entity Ergo 2024

The revolutionary Duotone Entity Ergo 2024 is setting the new benchmark in hold, ergonomy, safety and comfort.

The skeleton of a foot consists of 28 bones. The foot bones can be divided into following groups: tarsal bones, metatarsal bones and phalanxes. 20 muscles and over 114 tendons and ligaments ensure the required flexibility and stability of the bones to each other. The 2022 F-One Platinum 3 Bindings are able to fit all types of feet whilst ensuring the best connection with your board. The pad offers the most amazing feel while riding, and absorb the impacts. The straps lock your feet to the pad in the ideal position.

To obtain the highest quality pads, F-one has chosen an injected process that permits various forms and densities and created a dual-density pad for an optimized comfort: the edge areas are denser for a better support while the foot bed areas are softer for more comfort. Using a unique process that allows generating all possible forms while picking the best EVA foam density.

Because a pad is those two essential things: a form and a foam. The F-ONE strap is fully adjustable to the size and shape of the foot. This year the quality of the strap was improved also, which is now filled with gel foam for a fantastic comfort. Its neoprene coating is combined with a base in injected plastic.

There are three tuning axes to set the 2022 F-one PLATINUM 3 BINDINGS on the board for an optimum riding position:

Angle: from 0° to 24°, you can select the foot angle that fits you the best.
Foot Position: you can slide the F-one PLATINUM 3 BINDINGS forth or back on the board to place your feet at the right distance from the edge of the board.
Stance: all F-ONE boards offer three settings for the spacing of your feet.

We’ve balanced simplicity and support with a single fastening strap, and we’ve optimised the footbed thickness and durometer for cushioned comfort.

Super-fast assembly with maximum adjustability

Simply drop the entire binding onto the board and insert the screw where you want it. The intuitive Flex connection system uses standardised M6x16mm screw hardware to fasten the binding to the board in various positions with easy stance adjustment to suit all riders. The oval hole allows for both 6”- 6.5” industry standard screw spacings.

Anatomical comfort with grip when wet

Lightweight, durable, and impact absorbing, with the grip pattern height increased for added comfort, its forward-angled anti-slip serration pattern helps your foot stay in place on various angles. The shock-absorbing footbed is ergonomically angled to encourage optimised weight distribution and knee alignment, provide core support and reduce pressure on your feet, knees, hips and back.

Seamless KnitFlex top strap

Our unique seamless KnitFlex lining is pre-tensioned and laminated to the conforming foam inner, so it can create a 3D-curve without any bunching or creasing, and there’s no stitching to rub on your foot.

Extended lateral arch supports

The arch supports are extended inside the strap to ensure comfort where the top strap meets the footbed, protecting your foot from the most rigid load-bearing part of the binding. No blisters, no hard edges.

Raised toe grip

The new softer toe bar has been engineered to suit different foot shapes, allowing the rider to grip on with toes and prevent your foot from slipping out during high rotation tricks and landings.

Two size options

We have found it’s more to do with the shape and angle of your upper foot than foot length when aiming for the most effective fit. Positioning and adjustment settings are printed on the binding to make setup simple and intuitive. The all-new North Flex LX Bindings 2023 have a sense of luxury that speaks to the perfect balance between performance and design. Cushioning. Support. Shock absorption. Engineered to help absorb and disperse impact after gravity-defying boosts, with triple-density dynamic support technology to protect your heels and guarantee softer landings.
We’ve added structure and stability with a more contoured footbed and ramped chassis for improved fit and increased lateral support. Outer angled heel inserts ensure your foot rolls properly, providing a stable landing and protecting your knees and ankles when loading up to release into the air. The GripFlex lightweight, rubberized EVA inner maintains grip underfoot when wet, while the fine grip pattern helps keep you locked in on various angles, preventing your foot from sliding out of the binding. We’ve refined the adjustable injection-Velcro top flap to provide a strong yet flexible hold. The strap has a soft foam and KnitFlex seamless lining with split-Velcro fastenings. These provide custom comfort and allow your foot to shuffle more easily into a locked-in position. For your ultimate fit, ensure there’s enough room for your toes to stretch and flex, and make sure the strap doesn’t slip or rub. The upper should feel secure, but not too tight, and the footbed should match the shape of your foot.

The MYSTIC MARSHALL FOOTPAD sets the standard in comfort, durability, and ergonomic support. Through extensive research into alignment and the natural movement of the rider’s ankles, knees, and upper body during riding as well as high impact landings…The Dual Moulded Direct Impact foot bed was developed. The two part dual density moulded design features an ultra-comfortable lower density upper layer with extra cushioning on the lateral (outer) side of your foot, with a denser, more supportive impact resistant layer on the medial (inner) side of the foot, guiding your knees outwards during high impact landings. This technology, common in running and athletic shoes, offers the best support and stability while minimising the chances of fatigue and injury.

The variable angle adjustment strap works in conjunction with the directional grooving to keep your foot firmly in place. This, combined with the adjustable rubber moulded tongue, enables you to fine-tune the Marshall to fit your specific foot shape… Creating the ultimate connection to the board.

MYSTIC MARSHALL FOOTPAD Technology

DUAL MOULDED DIRECT IMPACT FOOTBED

The two-part dual density moulding design creates an ultra-comfortable upper layer which is active during regular riding. With a denser more supportive impact resistant layer specifically designed to support and cushion your feet during high impact landings.

This unique design increases the ergonomic support to the inside of your foot. Which in turn guides your knees outwards during riding.

RUBBER TONGUES

The unique rubber moulded adjustable tongue creates a soft flexible framework to support the footstrap. Enabling the rider to personalise the position of the strap on the base plate. By moving the moulded tongue insert forwards or backwards.

The dual primary slots create variable sizing options for riders with very big feet or those riding in booties.

DIRECTIONAL GROOVING

Directional grooving guides your heel towards the centre of the pad, helps your toes to grip more effectively. As well as stopping your feet from slipping out of position when jumping or in heavy chop.

This board is based on the legendary TRAX heritage and implements some of the latest thinking developed on the WTF?! to offer a unique blend of comfort, performance and ease of use.

Description

The overall rocker line is moderate to ensure the board offers early planing and keeps the fantastic glide, which is the true signature of the TRAX. The rocker line is split into three distinct stages with a flatter section in the centre, which is crucial to achieving an excellent upwind angle and great tracking on the water. The transition between the middle section and the tips was inspired by the WTF?! rocker to offer incredible pop.

The bottom shape features a deep double concave and some tip channels. Both are quite efficient at providing first-class grip and control to the board, but the double concave is the main driver behind the overall comfort of the board and its stability at all times.

The rails are inspired by our HRD technology, with taller sections around the feet for better lift and balance, they were kept thin everywhere else to offer plenty of grip.

The deck shape is stripped down for more simplicity and better contact between the bindings and the board. The 3D work in the middle section, another heritage of the TRAX, helps the centre of the board track in a straight line with a solid feel for more accuracy and control when riding.

On the water, the board impresses by how smooth it is to ride. Everything feels natural and totally intuitive. A perfect blend of glide, solid pop and smooth landings characterise this well-balanced shape.

The F-One TRAX ESL is available in two sizes, which should fit a wide range of users. The proportions of the shape are inspired by the latest freestyle developments while the dimensions are kept more manageable.

All versions come equipped with our UNIBox 50m fins, which offer better speed and improved glide thanks to their thinner profile.
