This shape was the result of a design research towards maximum optimization of the aerodynamic performances of the kite and of its depower. It gives the possibility to fit more canopy area in the middle sections to create more projected area. The C Shape makes sure the kite remains responsive and fluid.
DELTA C-SHAPE technology design offers unmatched stability and steering response when fully de-powered, with the possibility of connecting the front lines higher on the leading edge of the kite.
Reactor Valve
F-One’s fast double function valve uses the same inflate and deflate mechanism used by SUPs. The wide valve allows for high intake and easy deflating at the push of a button.
Auto Relaunch
Once the kite is sitting with the leading edge flat on the water, its C-Shape associated with the Delta Pivot allows the kite to automatically roll over onto one wing tip. The kite will then glide towards the edge of the window, ready for quick and easy water re-launch.

This year the Bandit S comes with the improved profile skin tension as well as the trailing edge construction and design. A new vertical panel layout with its warp line orientation at the back of the profile. New trailing edge design with our 135gr Dacron. All of this improved a lot the control of the profile and the kite’s weight.
This new profile offers a very impressive stability and responsiveness which are essential features for wave riding. The traction and the control of the F-One Bandit S2 is so homogenous in any wind condition and everywhere in the window. The BANDIT allows to ride on impulse, which makes your ride more fluid.
Besides that work on the profile and stability, we have modified the outline of the Bandit S2. The centre strut is now shorter and the wing tips wider. The handling is now more reactive and the S2 is following closely your board’s turns.
Every aspects of the design have been improved and the profile has been rethought. The leading edge has one more segment on the centre to set an even more clean C shape curve. We have removed one segment on the tips to make them sleeker.
The bar feeling has been tweaked to be even lighter and more precise to react instantly to your input.
When you are wavering and riding strapless you are constantly using the bar to adjust the power and the direction of your kite. That connection with your kite is essential and we always use the term: “bar feeling” but it is a lot more than this.
While working on the design of the new F-One BANDIT S2 we have made major improvements on the steering, especially when sheeting out. Most of the time, when depowered, you are losing the back lines tension and so the steering control. It’s particularly noticeable in on-shore conditions where your kite need to change direction to follow each of your turn.
Power delivery feels exceptionally linear and progressive, with smooth depower that is highly intuitive allowing you to have a perfect balance and to focus on your surfing or tricks. It never surges in power if you send it back quickly through the window.
The control and stability in overpowered conditions along with its impressive vertical lift is making as well the S2 a fantastic kite for strapless freestyle!
The BANDIT S2 is reactive, light and drivey making it the ideal kite for foiling. The stability of the S during the drift is a great help on a foil especially when your lines are slack during turns or carves.

Design
The TRIGGER is the ultimate Big Air weapon to throw huge airs as well as a freeride machine. Designed to perform, its high aspect and five-strut air frame can handle tons of power while offering precise handling for impeccably targeted sends.
Simply pull the bar to enjoy its mind-blowing vertical boost. The resulting hangtime is on point, offering the perfect amount of float and bar feedback to confidently and gently land after a big jump. The vertical climb is progressive, and the hold on the way down is so good you will confidently try all your tricks. Very effective in Big Air in all conditions and especially on flat water, its vertical traction allows you to jump high without the need of a kicker.
Performance
The TRIGGER offers an excellent steering response with light bar pressure and great bar feedback. It is responsive and reactive, achieving a great turning radius with decent speed that feels smooth across the window to send kite loops.
Thanks to that precise bar feedback,you know where the kite is in the air at all times and can easily harness its lifting surface for big accelerations and vertical boosts while fully staying in control. Riding is natural and comfortable with a lateral pull turned into positive traction, and the impressive depower lets you handle any gusts even in the high end.
As we developed this kite, we naturally sought to put forth and capitalize on our extensive expertise to design the finest Big Air kite while staying true to ourselves. We aimed to create a kite that would perform extremely well throughout the entire wind range.
The additional projected area of the TRIGGER allows great float during each jump and soft landings. It gives more traction as well, and coupled with the high aspect, it insures a nice glide and performances in light winds.
5 Strut design
The five struts bring impressive stability and full control particularly in the high end, as well as easy and sharp changes in direction. It also allows the smooth transfer of lateral pull into powerful vertical launch, which gives you confidence to keep pushing the limit.
Staggered seams
The R&D team worked intensively on making the entire profile amazingly sleek and implemented original staggered seams on the trailing edge. The seam’s tension line is thus broken, which means the entire profile of the canopy is leveled when the kite is fully powered. We kept the fabric’s orientation towards tension as well.
This all leads to more efficiency and sharper performances. Overall, this perfectly even canopy profile brings an even greater sense of stability without feeling disturbances or the bar moving.
The struts’ reinforcements are sleek as well thanks to the Kevlar strip on the top. This improves the kite’s steering and maneuverability, reduces the aerodynamic disturbances, and decreases the overall weight of the kite once wet.
Our original 5 points connections bridle and two pulleys help keep the arc stable even in overpowered conditions. This kite has been designed to work with a low front V on the bar, better suited for the flattened arc and to improve the bar feel.
The new, CNC-shaped, anodized aluminum low friction “pulleys” are super lightweight and increase the kite’s reactivity. They also raise the bridle’s resistance to abrasion and its overall durability.

The North Reach Kite 2023 is the Ultimate all round kite, one of the few kites available that excels in every discipline. Often described as the desert island kite, this truly would be the kite to grab for a holiday that will include a little bit of everything – big air, kite loops, wave riding or foiling.

The 2023 model has seen some big improvements in terms of the materials used. To keep up with the competition North have introduced a better leading edge and canopy material (details below) which is stiffer and lighter.
The shape has changed a little and with the bridle also being tweaked to improve the responsiveness.
Overall the kite has seen some nice changes, albeit not huge but why change something that already works so well. We’re noticing this across a lot of the brands; now that the products are so good already it’s minor changes for each new model rather than the complete overhaul we saw in years past.

The Orbit rockets you upwind fast, with effortless steering, extreme boosting and hangtime guaranteed to take your breath away. For 2024 we’ve smoothed out the shape of the LE, introducing a continuous curved arc that is slightly narrower in the shoulders and wider in the wingtips. It’s quick. The wingtips have a more bi-elliptical shape for reduced drag and faster turning speed, while a slightly deeper profile in the centre creates more lift. Changes to the wingtip inspired a fully reworked bridle and attachment point positioning, for the most stable Orbit yet.
The kite feels even more reliable and forgiving in overpowered, gusty conditions yet retains its ability to fly forward and catch you in kite loops. It’s intuitive. Riders of all abilities can experience the best of both worlds, without worrying about your kite’s position in the sky. It’s more responsive in all conditions. In the smaller sizes we’ve lowered the aspect ratio slightly and refined profiles for improved hangtime and a faster, tighter turning radius for the doubles and S-loops.

This premium fabric is designed with a high-density structure that uses high-tenacity, double-coated polyester yarn in a double ripstop configuration. The double coating protects the yarn as much as possible from UV and abrasion damage, ensuring that the canopy remains crisp and responsive for as long as possible.

Our one-strut performer is engineered using lighter weight, lower elongation N-Max Dacron* for a crisp response, more direct steering and more dynamic recovery. For 2024 we’ve revised the bridle and further improved TE tensioning for a smoother, more efficient design with responsive power delivery in all conditions. Borrowed from our North sailing heritage, Code Zero is the name of a sail born to go fast in light, shifty conditions. Like its namesake, we engineered this kite for performance in very light air.
The Code Zero is a light, fast and reactive single-strut performer with effortless one-handed control and efficient light wind power delivery. It flies and turns quickly – with excellent drift and manoeuvrability which makes it ideal for foiling and small surf. One of the lightest single-strut kites available, the Code Zero has a playful and agile feel with dynamic steering. Refined for weight savings, we’ve stripped back the kite’s construction to the essential, using lighter N-Max Dacron on the leading edge and strut for stiffness and durability, a double-canopy layer to reinforce the trailing edge and lighter-weight bladder material in every size. The Click Bar was a game-changer when it hit the market; the design has been refined over the years, and it’s become the benchmark in kite control systems. For 2024, the Iron Heart VI is back, featuring the Click-In Safety System. This allows you to simply push the chicken loop into the Iron Heart VI for easy connection every time.
Perfect for riders using a rope slider bar and a real help when you pop your chicken loop and need to reconnect, especially in the water. The new leash has been redesigned from the ground up; it utilises a new construction with neoprene making it softer and more flexible but also improving the elongation when you crash. In addition, there is a new EVA design and the new Quick Link Mechanism, which allows you to clip the leash into the Suicide Ring with only one hand, massively improving safety.
The floater is also removable so that you can inspect the leader lines of the bar, and the new pigtails have reduced sleeving only where needed; this reduces the weight and the drag through the air at a critical connection point to the kite. The FLITE99 lines from Robline reduce the drag through the air and offer a more direct steering response.
The V Distributor III can be adjusted easily, allowing you to set the front-line split quickly. It can also be removed entirely, very easily, so you can have a very low V; this makes the Click Bar compatible with most kites on the market. The new V-Distributor III can be adjusted easily, allowing you to set the front line to split quickly. It can also be removed entirely, very easily, so you can have a very low V. This makes the Click Bar compatible with most kites on the market.

The Vario Cleat and Sliding Stopper enable a quick and easy adjustment of the depower stroke. Adjustable Vario Cleat with new Adjuster Clip to increase safety and comfort. Especially interesting for smaller riders who have problems reaching the bar in the regular setting. The height of the Vario Cleat and Sliding Stopper can be easily adjusted to suit personal preferences. The reduced size combined with the smaller Vario Cleat accounts for 12 % more depower area. The 5th line channel reduces the risk of the 5th line getting tangled considerably.

INTEGRATED EVA FLOATER FLIP – FLOP FUNCTION
The moulded EVA floater is fully integrated into the winding posts to offer a seamless connection, which gives better protection to the lines and the rider. The integration of the EVA floater also avoids line tangling and gives better overall stiffness between the bar and lines. To achieve better and more direct feedback on the thumb, we added a push pin on the outside of the winding post for easy operation. The Flip-Flop function allows you to switch between a 49 cm and 42 cm bar width with just one click. This makes the procedure of changing the bar set up far simpler.
WINDING POSTS
The Winding Posts are made of a fully moulded fibreglass reinforced Polyamide construction, which offers an incredibly lightweight solution with increased stiffness. In addition to this, there is a moulded EVA cushioning to ensure maximum comfort for the rider. The Winding Posts feature an integrated backline adjustment, which allows the rider to trim the rear lines when needed.
ATTENTION
Never ride without the cover. It prevents the knot of the leader line from slipping out of its housing.

The exchangeable insert for the centre hole is made of plastic to minimize wear on the depower line. The material we use is resistant to abrasion, and will cause much less damage, if sand is present, to the line itself.

The Roto Head permits you to untangle the lines after a rotational jump or a kiteloop while you are riding. It is made from an extremely durable plastic construction where no corrosion is possible. The Roto Head comes with two grub screws making it easy and fast to change the depower line. Simply use an FCS fin key to remove the screws and change the depower line.
IRON HEART VI – TRUST BAR
The new Iron Heart VI features a simple Click-In Safety System including an optical control function that allows you to reconnect the chicken loop as easily as you clip in your seat belt plus being able to check the green marking, to ensure the system is closed properly. Due to a ball bearing the Click Bar has an automatic untwist function.
