The Kitesurf Centre Shop is run by the 3 brothers, Thomas, Tristan and Rupert who are assisted by the irreplaceable Roman who helps in store and online. The shop has been operating since 2009 and now offers kitesurfing, stand up paddleboarding, wingsurfing, powerkiting and wetsuit products & accessories.
The brothers initially set up The Kitesurf Centre as a kite school which was highly successful and become one of the biggest schools in Europe. They later expanded into retail, and now solely focus on the kitesurfing shop side of the business.
In 2021 they built a brand new all singing and dancing, eco, off grid kitesurf shop on the beach at Camber Sands. With over 200m2 of retail space there is always plenty of stock available to try before you buy! The store always has more than 300 wetsuits, 150 kites, 75 harnesses and more accessories and wingsurfing equipment than you can count, so there’s always something for everyone!
The team are highly experienced and are lucky enough to have instructed, competed, travelled and worked all over the world. Now they all live a much quieter life residing in Camber. So if you ever have any questions or need some advice, please don’t hesitate to get in contact, they’re all more than happy to help.
All of the shop workers are employed due to their passion and knowledge in each of the sports and disciplines, so can offer impartial advice and make invaluable recommendations on all the products stocked. Tristan loves boosting on a kite in 50 knot winds but has more recently taken up wingsurfing for riding south coast swell, which is equally as addictive. He has been involved in the industry since 2006 as an instructor, brand rep and team rider for several reputable brands.

Rupert initially bought a powerkite and kite landboard in about 2002, which got everyone hooked on a family holiday in France, the rest is history…..

Roman the former food junkie who turned to kitesurfing 10 years ago right here at The Kitesurf Centre. Since then he’s become highly passionate about the sport and really mastered wave riding and hydrofoiling with a kite… this year he’ll assist you in store and ship all your orders!
